| 1 | Commission powertrain control unit (N127). | When replacing the drivetrain control unit (N127). | |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Remove AMG gateway control unit. | AR54.21-P-0000RG | |
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from powertrain control unit (N127). | ||
| 5 | Unclip electrical wiring harnesses (1) from holder (2). | ||
| 6 | Unscrew screws (3) and remove holder (2). | ||
| 7 | Remove powertrain control unit (N127) from holder (2). | Only when replacing the powertrain control unit (N127). | |
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. |
