Remove/Install Additional Fan For Instrument Cluster - AR54.30-P-0003RG

Topical note  Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).    
2 Remove trim at bottom for instrument panel on driver's side.   AR68.10-P-1501RQ
3 Remove expansion rivet (5). Model 190.### 1#
as of model year 2019
 
    SPECIAL TOOL Dismantling tool Fig 2
4 Turn air intake pipe (6) (arrow A) and remove from digital instrument cluster full display fan motor (M4/12) (arrow B).    
5 Detach air duct (1) from full display digital instrument cluster fan motor (M4/12).    
6.1 Disconnect electrical connector (2) and remove from air conditioner housing (7). Model 190.### 1#
as of model year 2019
 
6.2 Disconnect electrical connector (2) and unhook electric line (8). Model 190.### 2#
as of model year 2019
 
7.1 Unscrew screws (3) and remove digital instrument cluster full display fan motor (M4/12) with holder from air conditioner housing (7). Model 190.### 1#
as of model year 2019
 
7.2 Release catch hook (9) and take out digital instrument cluster full display fan motor (M4/12) with holder. Model 190.### 2#
as of model year 2019
 
8 Remove screws (4) and remove full display digital instrument cluster fan motor (M4/12) from holder. When replacing digital instrument cluster full display fan motor (M4/12).
IMPORTANT The screws (4) are bolted to the holder with nuts.
 
9 Install in the reverse order.
