	Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A

	Remove
1	Move windshield wiper system to park position
2	Switch off ignition, remove transmitter key if necessary and place transmitter key down outside of KEYLESS-GO transmission range
3	Open hood	Model 190, 197

4	Remove caps (3)
5	Unscrew nuts, remove driver-side wiper arm (1) and passenger-side wiper arm (2)	Puller	Fig 1
	Install
6	Switch on ignition	Ignition must be switched on so that wiper motors self-lock and do not turn when tightening the wiper arms.
		Ensure that windshield wiper system is switched off and is not switched on again.
7	Position wiper blade of passenger-side wiper arm (2) on assembly marking (arrow A) in windshield silk-screen print and tighten nut	Nut, wiper arm to wiper motor	*BA82.30-P-1002-01N
8	Position wiper blade of driver-side wiper arm (1) on assembly marking (arrow B) in windshield silk-screen print and tighten nut	Nut, wiper arm to wiper motor	*BA82.30-P-1002-01N
9	Install caps (3)
