Voice control system, general
Functions of the driver information system are called up and operated via the voice control system (VCS). The VCS [SBS] is integrated in the head unit. The voice control system can be controlled by spelling out or entering complete words.

If Carplay or Android Auto is activated the voice control for Carplay or Android Auto is initiated by pressing and holding the voice control ON and favorites switch. If he voice control ON and favorites switch is pressed quickly, the voice control system of the head unit is switched o n.

The voice control system is switched on and off using the voice control ON and favorites switch on the head unit multifunction steering wheel button group.

Voice input takes place via the driver hands-free system microphone, which is connected to the head unit via direct lines. The words that are spoken are converted into electrical signals by the driver hands-free system microphone and forwarded to the head unit.

The VCS is switched-on on the right multifunction steering wheel button group and switched off on the left multifunction steering wheel button group.
