Check 

  1. Slightly open side window.
  2. Affix suitable tape strips (1) as per dimensions (A, B, C, D) on side window.

  3. Mark window guide markings (2) on tape strips (1).

  4. Close side window and front door.
  5. Check window guide depth as per window guide markings (2).
  6. Check gap dimension (J1) with SPECIAL TOOL feeler gauge (3).

    IMPORTANT The gap should not run wedge-shaped or be too narrow at points. Deviations from parallel gap should be max. 1 mm over the entire length.

    Adjust 

  7. Close side window and front door.

    IMPORTANT A helper, who sits in the vehicle during the process, is required for the adjustment procedure.

  8. Remove covers (4) and release screws located underneath.

  9. Adjust side window as per window guide markings (2) using a cup suction tool.
  10. Adjust gap dimension (J1) with SPECIAL TOOL feeler gauge (3).

    IMPORTANT The gap should not run wedge-shaped or be too narrow at points. Deviations from parallel gap should be max. 1 mm over the entire length.

  11. Tighten screws of side window TORQUE SPECIFICATION .
  12. Open and close side window multiple times by means of power window.
  13. Check side window adjustment.

    If complaint present

    Repeat adjustment procedure.

  14. Install covers (4).
  15. Remove tape strips on side window.
