The removed soft top is completely open and is hooked into a workshop crane.

A helper is required for all the following operation steps.

1. Positon device (1), as shown, on lift table (2) and bolt on.

   Comply with shown positions of device (1) on lift table (2).

   This ensures that the individual components of the soft top are later accessible.

2. Position soft top (3) over device (1).

   The lifting platform (2) is lowered completely.

3. Align soft top (3) with guide pins (5).

   Ensure that the hydraulic lines and the electrical wiring harness cannot be damaged.

4. Align soft top (3) with rear supports (7).

   Height of rear supports (7) can be adjusted.

5. Check that fastening jaws (4) are correctly positioned in cutouts (arrow A) on left and right main bearing of soft top (3).

6. Move soft top (3) to closed position and insert left and right guide pin (6) of front lock into corresponding bore (arrows B) at device (1).

   Only if work has to performed on soft top (3) in closed position.

   When the soft top (3) is moved, observe inner side tensioning cords on the soft top canvas and inner headliner.

   Otherwise the tensioning cords can catch and tear.
