1. Fully detach protective foil (46) from tape strips (28).

2. Fold soft top canvas (1) toward rear with aid of a helper and set down on soft top frame.
3. Attach soft top canvas (1) on left and right retaining strip (1.8) on soft top bow (18).
4. Attach left and right retaining strip (1.7) of soft top canvas (1) on soft top frame.

5. Clip rear retaining strip (1.1) of soft top canvas (1) into clamping bracket (4).

   Clip in rear retaining strip (1.1) without retaining clamps (5).

   The joint (arrow A) of the retaining strip (1.1) should be located opposite the hole (arrow C) in the clamping bracket (4).

6. Move support pins (39) on device (32) to upper position.
7. Hook both soft top tensioning straps (14) into device (32) and tighten nuts (34).

   Do not detach counter nuts (35).

   Otherwise the factory adjustment for soft top tensioning straps (14) can be changed.

8. Ensure that the locking hook (30) and the guide pins (31) on the front lock are completely insert in the device (32).
9. Push Allen key (size 6) upwards and fully lock front lock via emergency actuation (arrow D) into mounts of device (32).

   The Allen key (size 6) must be pressed into motor shaft via a spring-loaded end stop.

   Otherwise, the mechanical components of the deflector can be damaged.

10. Press soft top canvas (1) behind soft top bow (18) upwards (arrows F) until soft top canvas (1) is fully detached from tape strip (28).

    Helper required.

11. Manually press soft top canvas (1) from center towards the outside onto tape strips (28) so that it is bubble-free. Have helper press soft top canvas (1) behind soft top bow (18) upward (arrows F) until soft top canvas (1) completely adheres to adhesive strips (28).

    Do not press soft top canvas (1) too firmly into holes (49).

    Otherwise the holes (49) can leave visible marks through the soft top canvas (1).

    Ensure that soft top canvas (1) rests in the area of front edge of soft top bow (18), in particular on underside, in a bubble- and wrinkle-free manner on soft top bow (18).

12. Unclip rear retaining strip (1.1) of soft top canvas (1) from clamping bracket (4).

13. Detach left and right retaining strip (1.7) of soft top canvas (1) from soft top frame.
14. Detach left and right retaining strip (1.8) of soft top canvas (1) from soft top bow (18).

    Front retaining strip (1.10) remains attached on soft top bow (18).

15. Fold up soft top canvas (1) at rear and fold forward as shown.

    Helper required.

    Ensure that the adhesive bonding does not detach.

16. Clip retaining strip (1.9) using a long wedge into soft top bow (18).

    Carefully clip in retaining strip (1.9).

    Otherwise the surface finish on the magnesium soft top bow (18) can be damaged resulting in corrosion.

17. Attach left and right tensioning cable (20) on soft top bow (18).
18. Fully detach protective foil from tape strips (27).
19. Fold soft top canvas (1) toward rear and set down on soft top frame.

    Helper required.

20. Manually press soft top canvas (1) onto tape strips (27) in a bubble-free manner.
21. With an Allen key (size 6), fully release front lock in a pressure less manner via the emergency actuation (arrow D).
