	Remove/install
1.1	Detach headliner and lay down on seats	MODEL 166, 204.0, 218 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof)
		MODEL 218.9 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof)	AR68.30-P-4300ELX
		MODEL 166 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof) without CODE Z05 (B5 armoring on special protection version)	AR68.30-P-4300GQ
		MODEL 204.0 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof)	AR68.30-P-4300CW
1.2	Remove headliner	MODEL 204.2, 212.2 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof)
		MODEL 204.2 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof)	AR68.30-P-4300CX
1.3	Loosen headliner and lay down on seat with electrical wiring harness connected	MODEL 212.0/1 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof)
		On vehicles with code (882) Interior monitoring (only with ATA) it is not necessary to disconnect the electrical connector when laying down the headliner, i.e. the rear seat backrest on vehicles without code (287) Through-loading feature or the side bolster on vehicles with code (287) Through-loading feature must not be removed. 2	Remove water drain hoses (2) on left and right side of tilting/sliding roof frame (1)
3	Disconnect electrical connector from tilting/sliding roof motor
4	Remove grab handle (3) on left and right side of vehicle	MODEL 204.0/2, 212 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof)
5	Remove mounting console (4) on left and right side of vehicle	MODEL 204.0/2, 212 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof)
6	Insert one pliers (5) each into corresponding holes (arrows) on left and right side of tilting/sliding roof frame (1)	Pliers	Fig 2
7	Remove screw/bolts (6)	Bolts (6) remain on tilting/sliding roof frame (1). MODEL 212.2 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof) with CODE 802 (Model year 2012)
		: Tighten center bolt (6) on left and right with torque.	*BA77.20-P-1001-01K

8.1	Remove pliers (5) and tilting/sliding roof frame (1) through door cutout on liftgate from vehicle	MODEL 166 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof) Helper required.

8.2	Remove pliers (5) and tilting/sliding roof frame (1) through door cutout on right rear door from vehicle	MODEL 204.0/2, 212 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof) Helper required.

8.3	Remove pliers (5) and tilting/sliding roof frame (1) through door cutout on passenger door from vehicle	MODEL 218 with CODE 414 (Power glass tilting/sliding roof) Helper required.

9	Install in the reverse order
10	Normalize tilting/sliding roof	Close tilting/sliding roof with tilting/sliding roof switch. Continue to hold tilting/sliding roof for min. 1 s in this position. Then move tilting/sliding roof to tilt position "OPEN" until end position is reached. Continue to hold tilting/sliding roof for min. 1 s in this position. Then close tilting/sliding roof.
11	Connect diagnostic system, read out fault memory, perform teach-in run for automatic reversing function of sliding roof
