	Remove/install
1	Remove front overhead control panel		AR82.20-P-1100GQ
2	Remove panelings (6)	Mounting wedge	Fig 3
3	Release and disconnect electrical connectors (7)
4	Remove sun visors		AR68.60-P-5480GQ
5	Remove paneling from A-pillars		AR68.30-P-4050WX
6	Remove grab handles		AR68.30-P-4330GQ
7	Detach upper paneling on B-pillars		AR68.30-P-4700GQ
8	Remove paneling on C-pillars	Remove/install trim at C-pillar Model 166 (except 166.8) without CODE Z05 (B5 armoring on special protection version)	AR68.30-P-4490GQ
9	Detach paneling on D-pillars	Removing and installing trim panel at D-pillar Model 166 (except 166.8) without CODE Z05 (B5 armoring on special protection version)	AR68.30-P-4495GQ
10	Remove lashing eye (5)	If installed.
11	Remove edge guard (4) from headliner (1)
12	Detach headliner (1) from roof frame and remove toward rear from vehicle	Helper required! Carefully handle headliner (1), do not kink and lay down on clean base! Otherwise damage and soiling can occur. MODEL 166 with CODE 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof) without CODE Z05 (B5 armoring on special protection version) Model 166 with CODE 582 (Rear air conditioner) without CODE Z05 (B5 armoring on special protection version) Ensure that outlets (8) are seated correctly on air ducts. MODEL 166 with CODE 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof) without CODE Z05 (B5 armoring on special protection version) Disengage roof paneling (1) at side (arrows) on panoramic roof.
		Unclip retaining frame (2) on front overhead control panel on roof frame and detach headliner (1) at front, rear and center from roof frame. Headliner (1) is held by magnets (3).

	Check
13	Check headliner (1)	Check whether all magnets (3) are present on headliner (1). If loose magnets (3) are present, bond to specified positions on headliner (1). Previously remove old adhesive residues.
		2-component adhesive/Devcon 5 Min. Epoxy	*BR00.45-Z-1072-02A
14	Fasten electrical wiring harness to headliner (1) with adhesive tape	When replacing headliner (1) or electrical wiring harness
		Adhesive tape roll, non-woven Tesa tape, 50 meters, 50 mm wide	*BR00.45-Z-1144-02A
15	Install in the reverse order
