2	Set selector lever to position N and release parking brake
3	Disconnect ground line from battery		AR54.10-P-0003GZ
4	Secure vehicle on vehicle lift		AR00.60-P-0100GZ
5	Remove underfloor paneling		AR61.30-P-1001GQ
6	Disconnect high-voltage electrical line from refrigerant compressor and expose underneath	Transmission 724.2 in model 166.063	AR83.55-P-5311GQA
7	Detach ground lines from transmission (1)	Bolt, ground line to transmission housing	*BA27.10-P-1028-04G
8	Remove left and right brackets of catalytic converter from transmission (1)	Bolt, exhaust system bracket to transmission	*BA49.10-P-1020-01AK
9	Separate rear exhaust system at connecting point and remove		AR49.10-P-7100GQA
10	Unclip electrical lines of left and right oxygen sensor upstream and downstream of catalytic converter from transmission (1)		AR07.52-P-5303GQC

		Bolt, heat shield to sprag	*BA27.10-P-1013-04G
12	Unlock electrical connector (9) at electrohydraulic controller unit, disconnect and unclip line from transmission (1)
13	Detach oil lines (10a, 10b) from transmission (1) and oil pan and set aside		AR27.55-P-0600GQ
14	Remove heat shield (12) from transfer case (15)	Transmission 724.2 in model 166 with code 430 (On & off-road package)
15	Release, detach and unclip electrical connections (15a) on transfer case (15)	Transmission 724.2 in model 166 with code 430 (On & off-road package)
16	Remove rear propeller shaft (6b) at output flange to rear axle from transfer case (15), place to one side and fix in place	Tightening procedure for rear propeller shaft to transfer case	AR41.10-P-0050-17GZ

23	Remove transmission (1) with transfer case (15) and with high-voltage distributor

		Lower the major assembly mount slowly and secure the torque converter to prevent it from falling out.
		Align the holes of the torque converter with the holes in the driver spider.
24	Install in the reverse order
	Check
25	Check transmission oil level and correct if necessary
		Follow the prescribed work procedure exactly and observe the Specifications for Operating Fluids. Otherwise the transmission (1) will be damaged.	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
26	Perform transmission adaptation	After replacing the transmission (1), the electric machine rotor position sensor or the electric machine, or after repairing the transmission (1).

	Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. 27	Conduct engine test run, and check transmission (1) for leak tightness and proper operation
