2 Remove battery for the eCall Russia (GLONASS) control unit (N167) from the headliner INSTALLATION NOTES
The insulation and correct routing of the electrical connector (5), electrical wiring harness and battery must be ensured. In order to avoid noises while driving.
IMPORTANT The component is installed above the headliner in the area of the overhead control panel control unit (arrow C).		  
3 Release and disconnect electrical connector (5) of battery from eCall Russia (GLONASS) control unit (N167)    
4 Wrap felt tape around battery When installing a new part.  
5 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Check     
6 Press button (1) and hold for approximately 1 s to activate the self-test of the eCall Russia (GLONASS) control unit (N167) IMPORTANT Several announcements will be made during the self-test.
If at the end of the self-test all indicator lamps (2) and the SOS button are constantly lit for 5 s, the self-test was successful and the eCall Russia (GLONASS) control unit (N167) is functioning correctly.
