| 1 | Perform commissioning of windshield heater control unit (N61). | When replacing windshield heater control unit (N61). | |

| 2 | Disconnect ground line of battery. | AR54.10-P-0003XG | |
| 3 | Remove front floor covering (1) on front passenger side. | AR68.80-P-0008XG | |
| 4 | Remove rear duct (2) with attached right B-pillar air distribution actuator motor (M16/34) and place to one side. | AR83.10-P-2039XG | |
| 5 | Unclip expansion rivets (3). | Fig 2 | |
| 6 | Remove nuts (4). | ||
| 7 | Remove holder (5). | ||
| 8 | Disconnect electrical connector (6). | ||
| 9 | Open flap (7). | ||
| 10 | Disconnect ground line (8) from windshield heater control unit (N61). | ||
| 11 | Disconnect positive line (9) from windshield heater control unit (N61). | ||
| 12 | Unscrew nuts (10). | ||
| 13 | Remove windshield heater control unit (N61). | ||
| 14 | Install in reverse order. |
