Windshield wiper system, general
The windshield wiper system controls the wiping and washing of the windshield and, in model 213.2, as well as also the wiping and washing of the rear window.
The windshield wiper system function consists of the following subfunctions, which are described in separate documents:
- Windshield wiper, function
- Windshield washer, function
- Spray nozzle hose heater function (with CODE 875 (Heated windshield washer system))
- Rear window windshield wiper system (model 213.2)
As of 01.06.2018, there is a defined service item which is triggered automatically if "single wipe" and circuit 15C ON or circuits 15C, 15R, 15 and 50 OFF is triggered. Up to 31.05.2018, during continuous wiping, circuit 15C ON or circuit 15C, 15R, 15 and 50 OFF must be switched when at the required position.
