	Remove/install
1	Remove wheel arch liner from rear fenders.	Model 213.2 with code M035 (Allroad version)	AR88.80-P-0006LWT
2	Remove left rear lamp unit (E3) and right rear lamp unit (E4).		AR82.10-P-4731LWS
3	Raise vehicle.		AR00.60-P-1002LWG
4	Unscrew bolts (2).	Model 213.2 with code M035 (Allroad version) Remove one screw (2) and one expansion rivet instead of the two screws (2).

5	Remove expansion rivet (3).	Model 205.2 The number can vary according to equipment and engine.

6	Remove expansion rivets (4) from left fender liner (6) and right fender liner (5).	Dismantling tool iSS	Fig 1

8	Unscrew screws (7).

10	Unscrew nuts (9).
11	Fold back foam sleeves (10) and disconnect electrical connectors (11). Otherwise noise may occur. The number of electrical connectors (11) can vary depending on the equipment installed.
12	Guide electrical wiring harness (13) out of body together with grommet (12). 13	Mask left rear side wall (15) and right rear side wall (14).
14	Disengage rear bumper (1) from left rear side wall (15) and right rear side wall (14) (arrows A).
15	Disengage rear bumper (1) in area of left rear lamp unit (E3) and right rear lamp unit (E4) (arrows B).	Helper required.
16	Disengage rear bumper (1) (arrows C) and remove.	Model 205.2 Model 213.2 except code 234 (Blind Spot Monitoring) except code 235 (Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC) except code 237 (Active Blind Spot Assist) except code 238 (Active lane keeping Assist) except code 253 (Rear impact warning and protection system) except code P17 (KEYLESS-GO package) Helper required.
17	Disengage rear bumper (1) (arrows C) and remove until electrical connector is accessible. 18	Disconnect electrical connector and remove rear bumper (1). 19	Install in the reverse order.
