	Removing
1	Align the vehicle	Align the vehicle horizontally in the longitudinal direction by loading with weights as appropriate. Measure vehicle inclination across the door sills, e.g. using a spirit level

2.2	Remove engine compartment paneling	Model 204.0/2/3, 207 with gasoline engine	AR61.20-P-1105EW
2.3	Remove lower bottom sections of soundproofing	Model 204.0/2/3, 207 with diesel engine	AR94.30-P-5300EW
3	Detach left and right underfloor paneling	Only if the distance measurement and comparative measurement is carried out on the rear axle. Model 204

5.1	On the rear engine crossmember (63) remove the two bolts at the fifth threaded hole from the rear	Model 204.0/2/3, 207: On vehicles on which the rear engine crossmember (63) is mounted at this position.
5.2	Cut an M10 thread on the fifth bores from the rear	Model 204.0/2/3, 207: On vehicles on which the rear engine crossmember (63) is not  mounted at this position.
5.3	On the rear engine crossmember (63) remove the two bolts at the second threaded hole from the front	Model 204.9
6	Turn in threaded bolts (07n) of suspension (07) with shims (1)	Use washers (1), to ensure that the threaded stud (07n) fits correctly into each base.
