	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS20.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Drain off
1	Unscrew cap (1) on coolant expansion reservoir (2)	Unscrew cap (1) slowly and relieve overpressure.
2.1	Remove both lower engine compartment paneling	MODEL 204.9

2.2	Remove engine compartment paneling	MODEL 204.0/2/3, 207, 212 with gasoline engine

2.3	Remove bottom section of soundproofing	ENGINE 642, 646, 651 in MODEL 204 ENGINE 642, 651 in MODEL 207 ENGINE 651 in MODEL 172
		Model 172.4 with diesel engine	AR94.30-P-5300W
		MODEL 204.0/2/3., 207 with diesel engine	AR94.30-P-5300EW
2.4	Remove front and center engine compartment paneling	Model 172.4 with gasoline engine
			AR61.20-P-1105W
3	Slide drain hose onto drain fitting (3) at radiator
4	Slacken drain screw on radiator (4) and drain coolant	Remove radiator drain screw (4) until the coolant flows out. Permanent damage to the radiator drain screw (4) will occur otherwise. Observe regulations to dispose of coolant. Catch coolant with suitable container.
5	Tighten radiator drain screw (4) and detach drain hose from drain fitting (3) on radiator
6.1	Remove coolant hose on coolant inlet fittings for coolant pump and drain off coolant	ENGINE 271.8

		Catch coolant with suitable container. Observe regulations to dispose of coolant. Check coolant hose and sealing ring for good condition in order to avoid leaks. Check condition of hose coupling and seat, if necessary Replace catch spring of hose coupling.
6.2	Slide drain hose onto crankcase drain screw (5)	Except engine 271.8, 642
7	Unfasten crankcase drain screw (5) and drain off coolant	Except engine 271.8, 642 Catch coolant with suitable container. Observe regulations to dispose of coolant.
8.1	Tighten down crankcase drain screw (5) and detach drain hose from crankcase drain screw (5)	Except engine 271.8, 642
