	Remove
1	Remove paneling for trunk crossmember (12)	The trunk crossmember cover (12) is secured to the crossmember using 4 expansion rivets.
2	Remove hazard warning triangle and hazard warning triangle holder
3	Remove trunk lid paneling
4	Remove handle strip from trunk lid
			AR88.50-P-5062EW
		Remove the trunk lid cover completely. The old trunk lid handle strip is replaced with the trunk lid handle strip contained in the scope of supply.
5	Remove left and right side paneling from trunk (11)
			AR68.30-P-4800EC
6	Remove side paneling at left rear side in the rear
			AR68.30-P-4780ED
7	Move drivers seat toward rear
8	Disconnect battery ground line
			AR54.10-P-0003EW
9	Remove left door sill moldings
10	Loosen left front edge guard in the area of the A-pillar cover and in the area of the door sill
11	Remove cover below dashboard on left
12	Remove A-pillar cover in left footwell
13	Detach left front floor covering in footwell
14	Remove COMAND controller unit
			AR82.60-P-7502EW
		Do not detach wiring harnesses.
	Install
15	Retrofit reversing camera power supply module		AN54.65-P-0030-06ECB

18	Enter special equipment in online vehicle data card via the vehicle documentation system (VeDoc)	Add:  CODE 218 (Reversing camera).
19	Document retrofitted equipment through VeDoc	Attach "Reversing camera retrofitted as per AN54.65-P-0030ECB " note under field organization text for design group 54 and design group 88.
20	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle using vehicle identification number (VIN)

21	Perform variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN)	Variant coding must be carried out with XENTRY using the SCN for the following control unit: "Front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module" "Central gateway (CGW)" "COMAND controller unit"
