	Remove
1	Release fuse and relay module on driver's side.

2	Remove trim at bottom for instrument panel on driver's side.

3	Remove A-pillar trim on driver's side.

4	Remove top B-pillar trim on driver's side and place with attached seat belt to one side.

5	Remove front grab handle on driver's side.

7	Remove overhead control panel control unit.

	Install
8	Retrofit dashcam mount at front.	When pressing on, ensure that the pressure is applied directly on the adhesive point. The maximum adhesive strength is only reached after approx. 72 h at 20°C. Avoid any mechanical stress during the first hour. Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.	AZ54.71-P-0001-00LWE

9	Remove cover for rain and light sensor.	Long wedge	Fig 1
10	Remove both sun visors.

11	Remove front edge guard on driver's side in area of roof lining.
12	Release roof lining at front on driver's side.
	Install
13	Retrofit dashcam wiring harness.		AZ54.71-P-0002-01LWE

14	Latch dashcam at front (1) into place in dashcam mount in opposite direction to arrow on eject button.	Assemble dashcam at front (1) at the earliest one hour after gluing on the dashcam mount. Otherwise, the dashcam mount may work its way loose.

	National settings for Mercedes-Benz dashcam		GF54.71-P-0010-02LWE
16	Install remaining parts.
	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
17	Attach "Mercedes-Benz dashcam retrofitted at front as per AZ54.71-P-0002LWE" note under field organization texts to design group 54, design group 67 and design group 68.
	Check
18	Perform function test.	See Owner's Manual.
