Remove/Install HERMES Control Unit - AR82.95-P-0019LWE

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Connect diagnostic system and perform initial startup of HERMES control unit (N112/9) When replacing the HERMES control unit (N112/9).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS   Model 238 AD00.00-P-2000-06LWO
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS   Model 213 AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)    
3 Release head unit (A26/17) and pull backwards far enough for HERMES control unit (N112/9) to be removed NOTES
Cover up center console using a suitable dry cloth.
Otherwise, the center console may be damaged.
IMPORTANT Do not disconnect electrical connectors at head unit (A26/17).

4 Disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4) from HERMES control unit (N112/9) IMPORTANT The number of electrical connections (4) can vary depending on the equipment installed.  
5 Remove bolts (1)    
6 Remove bracket (2) with HERMES control unit (N112/9) from head unit (A26/17)    
7 Remove bolt from underside of bracket (2) When replacing the HERMES control unit (N112/9).  
8 Unclip HERMES control unit (N112/9) from bracket (2) and remove When replacing the HERMES control unit (N112/9).  
9 Install in the reverse order
