Install And Weld In Bottom Rear Center Section - Ar64.20-P-1000-08LWT

1. Apply 2-component adhesive for reinforcement on structural foam parts (2, 5).
2. Insert structural foam parts (2, 5) into body.

3. Install rear center section (1) and fit.

   Helper required.

4. Install liftgate seal.
5. Install striker eye.
6. Check and adjust gap dimensions.
7. Fix rear center section (1) in place.
8. Remove liftgate seal.
9. Remove striker eye.
10. Drill rivet holes on rear center section (1) with Ø 6.7 mm through present holes in body (areas A).
11. Countersunk rivet holes from outside (areas A).
12. Remove rear center section (1).
13. Deburr rivet holes on rear center section (1) and body on both sides.
14. Remove drilling chips.
15. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint (areas A).

16. Install rear center section (1) and fix in place.

    Helper required.

17. Rivet rear center section (1) with Ø 6.4x15.5 rivet (areas D).

    Clamping range 4.2 mm.

19. Rear center section (1) rp (areas E). The following operation step 20 is shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side.
