	Remove
1	Switch off the ignition and keep the transmitter key outside the transmission range (at least 2 m).
2	Unscrew bolts (16) and remove lock striker (15)

4	Remove the instrument panel cover (9).	When adjusting gap dimensions.

7	Remove lower insulation insert (6).	When adjusting gap dimensions. The lower insulation insert (6) is inserted into the A-pillar (10) before the nuts (4).
8	Detach bracket (12) and remove from working area	When adjusting gap dimensions. Do not disconnect electrical connectors from Front SAM control unit (N10/6). The bracket (12) is fastened to the A-pillar (10) with 3 nuts.
9	Remove upper insulation insert (7)	When adjusting gap dimensions. The upper insulation insert (7) is inserted into the A-pillar (10) before the nuts (5).
	Adjust
10	Loosen the nuts (4, 5) on the A-pillar (10) one after the other, adjust the driver's door (1) and tighten the respective nut (4, 5) again.	When adjusting gap dimensions. The nuts (4, 5) must not be loosened at the same time. Otherwise paint damage can occur if the driver's door (1) comes into contact with other components. Do not tension hinges (2, 3) when adjusting. Otherwise the hinges (2, 3) can be damaged. Model 205.3/4 Three nuts (4) are installed.

11	Loosen the bolts (13, 14) on the driver's door (1) one after the other, adjust the transition to the Front fender and retighten the respective bolts (13, 14).	When adjusting transition to Front fender.
	Note on the calculation of the		AH00.00-P-0015-01CW
	Tightening torque when using insert or socket tools with various effective lengths	Do not loosen bolts (13, 14) simultaneously. Otherwise paint damage can occur if the driver's door (1) comes into contact with other components. Do not tension hinges (2, 3) when adjusting. Otherwise the hinges (2, 3) can be damaged. The contour of the Front fender must align with the contour of the driver door (1) or project by a maximum of 1 mm. Use a torque wrench (17) in combination with a curved bit holder (18) to tighten the screws (13, 14).

12	Position the lock striker (15) on the B-pillar and screw in bolts (16) up to stop.	It should still be possible to adjust the lock striker (15).
13	Align lock striker (15) by carefully closing driver door (1)	Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293 The contour of the driver door (1) must align with the contour of the Rear door or project by a maximum of 1 mm. Model 205.3/4 The contour of the driver door (1) must align with the contour of the side wall or project by a maximum of 1 mm.

	Install
15	Repair paint damage on screw heads (13, 14)	If the transition to the Front fender is adjusted.
16	Protect the driver's door (1) and A-pillar (10) in the area of the two hinges (2, 3) against corrosion.	Wax preservatives for the Engine compartment (400 ml spray can)	*BR00.45-Z-1018-05A
17	Install upper insulation insert (7).	If gap dimensions have been adjusted.
18	Install the bracket(12).	If gap dimensions have been adjusted.
19	Install lower insulation insert (6)	If gap dimensions have been adjusted.
20	Install door sill paneling (8)	If gap dimensions have been adjusted.
