	Remove/install
1	Completely lower crank window (2) in front door (1)
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock control unit
3	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003NKB
4	Remove front door sill molding (5)		AR68.30-P-4100NKB
5	Disconnect left front electrical connector (X35/1) or right front door electrical connector (X35/2)
6	Remove insulation (7)
7	Unclip protective hose (6) from A-pillar (9)	Mounting wedge	Fig 2
8	Guide electric wiring harness (8) out of A-pillar (9)
9	Remove caps (3) from bolts (4)
10	Remove screws (4)	Moisten thread on bolts (4) with Loctite. Repair paint damage in area of bolts (4).
		Thread locking agent, Loctite 243 (10 ml)	*BR00.45-Z-1133-02A
		Screw/bolt to door hinge leaf connection	*BA72.10-P-1003-01U
11	Remove front door (1) from hinges with aid of helper and lay down on suitable subsurface	Carefully remove front door (1). If the front door (1) comes into contact with the vehicle, the paint can be damaged.
12	Install in the reverse order
13	Check gap dimensions on front door (1), correct if necessary		AR72.10-P-0550NKC
14	Check for proper function and synchronize power window
