2	Open front door (1)
3	Mark position of lock striker (2)	Markings are present on the B-pillar serving for positioning and precise adjustment of the locking eye (2) in the horizontal and vertical planes. To make assembly easier, mark the position of the locking eye (2).
4	Unscrew bolts (5) and remove locking eye (2)
5	Loosen A-pillar screws (3) and adjust corresponding gaps by moving front door (1)	Carefully move front door (1). If the front door (1) comes into contact with other components, the paint can be damaged. Dimensions "H, I"

6	Tighten A-pillar screws (3)	Screw/bolt, door hinge to A-pillar	*BA72.10-P-1002-01U
7	Loosen inner door panel bolts (4) and adjust transition between front fender and front door (1) by moving front door (1)	The contour of the front door (1) must align with the contour of the front fender or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
8	Tighten inner door panel screws (4)	Screw/bolt, door hinge to front door	*BA72.10-P-1001-01U
9	Insert striker eye (2) and screw in bolts (5) to stop	It should still be possible to adjust the lock striker (2).
10	Adjust transition between front door (1) and rear door by moving locking eye (2)	The contour of the front door (1) must align with the contour of the rear door or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
11	Tighten bolts (5) for locking eye (2)	Screw/bolt, lock striker to B-pillar	*BA72.10-P-1005-01U
12	Repair paint damage on screw heads of A-pillar screws (3) and inner door panel bolts (4) with touch-up paint pen
13	Close front door (1)
