Location 

The electronic differential control unit is installed on the right in the bottom of the trunk.

Task 

The electronic differential control unit actuates the multidisk clutch of the differential lock via the differential lock actuator (M46/3).

Coding 

The electronic differential control unit is codable and flashable, i.e. the complete software in the control unit can be updated.

CAN network 

The electronic differential control unit is connected over the AMG CAN (CAN AMG) to the vehicle's CAN network it exchanges data with other control units.

Input and output signals 

The following input signals are evaluated by the electronic differential control unit and the corresponding output signals issued:
