Telephone module with Bluetooth® (SAP) (with code 379 (Telephone module with Bluetooth SAP)) or mobile phone (except code 379 (Telephone module with Bluetooth SAP))

On vehicles with code 379 (Telephone module with Bluetooth SAP), the telephone module with Bluetooth® (SAP) sends the signals as follows:

Mobile phone contact plate (X237/1) →

Left telephone antenna (A2/102) or right telephone antenna (A2/103) →

Mercedes-Benz Service Center

Mercedes-Benz Service Center

The towing service and breakdown assistance and the service and maintenance are operated via the breakdown assistance button (N70s12) or the MB-Info button (N70s13) in the overhead control panel.

The signals from the breakdown assistance button and the MB-Info button are sent as follows:

Head unit

Operation is carried out via the head unit:

With all services, vehicle data is transmitted to the Service Center. The services towing service, breakdown assistance and some service and maintenance functions can be used when the customer selects the telephone book entry "MB Contact" via the audio equipment. The head unit then establishes a voice connection to the Service Center and sends vehicle data.

Various data is sent:

Towing service and breakdown assistance:

The Mercedes-Benz Contact Accident Aid supplements the Mercedes-Benz emergency call system. If an emergency call to the Mercedes-Benz Emergency Call Center was triggered following an accident, a voice connection to a service receptionist in the Service Center is established. Depending on the accident situation, the service receptionist may recommend forwarding the call to the Mercedes-Benz Contact Accident Aid. The towing of the vehicle to a Mercedes-Benz Service Support Point can thereby be initiated.

The voice connection to the Mercedes-Benz Emergency Call Center is terminated and the call is automatically forwarded to the Mercedes-Benz Contact Accident Aid. The vehicle data is transferred as with the Mercedes-Benz Contact as agreed. An employee of the Mercedes-Benz Contact Accident Aid then organizes the towing of the vehicle via Mercedes-Benz Service 24h to a Mercedes-Benz Service Support Point.

Service and maintenance

In order to receive the best possible support in the event that maintenance of the vehicle is required, you can make a service appointment directly with the Mercedes-Benz Customer Center. If a maintenance message appears in the instrument cluster, you also see a message in the Audio/COMAND display. This actively points out the service requirement and enables direct contact with the Mercedes-Benz Customer Center. You see the message: "Service <SerB vice_name> due soon: Would you like to make a workshop appointment?"
