	Remove/install
1	Move left or right front seat forwards
2	Remove load compartment retractable cover
3	Move left or right rear seat toward front and fold back rear seat backrest	MODEL 246 with CODE U57 (EASY-VARIO-PLUS-system)
4	Remove rear seat cushion	MODEL 246 with CODE 248 (Rear seat with integrated child seat) without CODE U57 (EASY-VARIO-PLUS-system)	AR91.12-P-1020NKD
4	Remove rear seat cushion	MODEL 242 MODEL 246 without CODE 248 (Rear seat with integrated child seat) without CODE U57 (EASY-VARIO-PLUS-system)	AR91.12-P-1020NKC
5	Remove cover (3) and unscrew nut (4) from belt end fitting	Nut, rear belt buckle/belt end fitting to body/pivot bearing	*BA91.40-P-1009-01S
6	Fold over left or right rear seat backrest	MODEL 242 MODEL 246 without CODE U57 (EASY-VARIO-PLUS-system)	AR91.12-P-1720NKB
7	Unclip cover (2)	Clip remover	Fig 3
8	Detach edge guard (6) in area of paneling (1)	Ensure that edge guard (5) is seated properly.
9	Unclip paneling (1)	Clip remover	Fig 3
10	Detach electrical connector (10) from left rear surround speaker (H4/62) or right rear surround speaker	MODEL 242, 246 with CODE 810 (Sound system)
11	Disconnect electrical connector (11) from left trunk lamp (E18/5)	When removing left paneling (1).
12	Remove trim panel (1)	Simultaneously guide seat belt (7) through paneling (1). Insert cover (2) into paneling (1) with associated clip.
13	Unclip left rear surround speaker (H4/62) or right rear surround speaker () and remove	MODEL 242, 246 with CODE 810 (Sound system) When replacing trim (1).
14	Unclip left trunk lamp (E18/5) and remove	When replacing trim (1).
15	Prepare paneling (1) on C-pillar for installing left rear surround speakers (H4/62) or right rear surround speakers.	When replacing trim (1).
	Fabricate template for installing speakers in C-pillar trim	MODEL 242, 246 with CODE 810 (Sound system)	WF58.50-P-6830-03A
	Fabricate template for installing speakers in C-pillar trim	MODEL 242, 246 with CODE 810 (Sound system)	AR68.30-P-4490-01A
16	Install in the reverse order
