5.1	Relieve pressure in ABC system	Model 231.### ## up to 021273 with code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC)) Before opening the hydraulic system, thoroughly clean the area surrounding the separation point. Otherwise minute particles of dirt in the hydraulic components can result in malfunctions and total failure of the hydraulic system.	AR32.50-P-0001-01N

6	Unscrew twelve-point collar nut (1) from rear axle shaft (10)	The vehicle must no longer be moved on its wheels when the twelve-point collar nut (1) has been loosened. Otherwise it could lead to wheel bearing damage. Install new twelve-point collar nut (1).	AR35.30-P-0115-01TX

8	Detach left rear axle rpm sensor (L6/3) and right rear axle rpm sensor (L6/4) from wheel carrier (5)
9	Unclip electrical lines from wheel carrier (5)
10	Detach tie rod (8) from wheel carrier (5)	Tighten bolted connection finger-tight only. Self-locking nut, tie rod to wheel carrier	*BA35.20-P-1001-04I
11	Detach strut rod (6) from wheel carrier (5)	Tighten bolted connection finger-tight only. Self-locking nut, strut rod to wheel carrier	*BA35.20-P-1002-03I

17	Remove wheel carrier (5) with brake cover plate (4) and wheel bearing (13)	Remove wheel carrier (5) carefully. The rubber boot and the rotor for the left rear axle rpm sensor (L6/3) and right rear axle rpm sensor (L6/4) on the rear axle shaft (10) can otherwise be damaged.
18	Unscrew bolts (7) and detach wheel bearing (13) from wheel carrier (5)	When replacing the wheel bearing (13). A new wheel carrier (5) is always shipped with a new wheel bearing (13). Wheel bearing to wheel carrier	*BA35.20-P-1001-06D
19	Detach brake cover plate (4) from wheel carrier (5)	When replacing the wheel carrier (5)
20	Install in the reverse order
