	Remove/install
	Risk of injury caused by pinching or crushing when working on springs or spring bodies that are under tension	Use only approved tensioning devices; additionally screen off hazardous area if necessary. Check special tools for damage and proper operation (visual inspection). Wear protective gloves.	AS00.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

1	Secure vehicle on vehicle lift		AR00.60-P-0100TX
2	Lift vehicle on vehicle lift		AR00.60-P-1000TX
3	Remove rear wheels		AP40.10-P-4050EW

4	Disconnect electrical connection (6)
5	Unscrew the nuts (4) and lay left rear (B22/7) and right rear (B22/10) level sensors with bracket to the side	observe installation position, do not twist. Nut, level sensor bracket to rear axle carrier	*BA82.10-P-1009-02A
6	Lower rear axle carrier (3) at front	MODEL 231 with ENGINE 157, 276, 278 Do not lower rear axle carrier (3) too much. Otherwise lines and components could get damaged.	AR35.10-P-0016RK
7	Unscrew nut (9) and remove torsion bar (1) from link rod (8)	Only tighten nuts and bolts when vehicle is in a ready-to-drive condition. Nut, link rod to stabilizer bar	*BA32.20-P-1002-04G
8	Unscrew nut (5), pull out bolt (2) and remove stabilizer bar (1) on rear axle carrier (3)	Nut, torsion bar to rear axle carrier	*BA32.20-P-1006-04G
9	Remove stabilizer bar (1) of rear axle carrier (3)
10	Remove stabilizer bar (1) to left side of vehicle
11	Install in the reverse order
	Check
12	Check headlamp adjustment	Vehicles with xenon headlamps
