	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Perform initial startup of left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9) with diagnostic system	When replacing the left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9).

2	Remove left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2)	MODEL 217	AR82.10-P-4730LC
		MODEL 222	AR82.10-P-4730LF
3	Remove screws/bolts (1) at left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9)
4	Pull out left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9) until electrical connectors (2, 3) can be separated	Ensure that seal is seated correctly at left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9).
5	Disconnect electrical connectors (2, 3) and remove left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9)
6	Install in the reverse order
