Remove/install radiator grille - AR88.40-P-4001LF

DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Open engine hood    
2 Remove screws (10)    
3 Tilt radiator grille (9) at top toward front and release catches (arrow A)    
4 Expose electrical connector on 360° camera at front and disconnect Model 222
with code 501 (360° camera)

5 Remove radiator trim (9) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Adjust gap dimensions above catch (arrow B).  
    Engine hood to radiator trim *BE60.00-P-1005-01BA 
    Protrusion of radiator trim/engine hood *BE60.00-P-1006-01BA 
    SPECIAL TOOL Feeler gauge Figure
6 Install in the reverse order    
7 Calibrate front 360° camera using the diagnostic system Model 222
with code 501 (360° camera)
 
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
CHECK VALUES FOR GAP DIMENSIONS
