	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A

	Remove/install
1	Remove poly-V belt		AR13.20-P-0001MUB
2	Remove left air filter housing (4)
3	Remove bolt (1) from support brace (2)	Removal:  Unscrew from the vehicle underside. Bolt, rear hydraulic pump to bracket for hydraulic pump and timing case	*BA32.00-P-1002-01D
4	Extract oil from Active Body Control (ABC) expansion reservoir (3)	Hand pump	Figure
5	Unhook hose (5) of crankcase ventilation system from bracket (6)
6	Unclip electrical connector (7) from bracket (6)	Place bracket to one side with lines connected.
7	Unscrew bolts (8) and remove bracket (6)
8	Detach electrical connection from ABC switchover valve (Y5)
9	Detach Active Body Control (ABC) feed line (11) from Active Body Control (ABC) hydraulic pump (10)	Seal openings with stop plugs. Observe installation position of Active Body Control (ABC) feed line (11). Record plug	Figure
10	Detach Active Body Control (ABC) pressure line (9) between Active Body Control (ABC) hydraulic pump (10) and valve unit from Active Body Control (ABC) hydraulic pump (10)	Replace the sealing rings of the Active Body Control (ABC) pressure line (9). Detach the Active Body Control (ABC) pressure line (9) at the earliest 10 minutes after switching off the engine; only then will the ABC system be fully unpressurized. Seal openings with stop plugs. Bolt, hydraulic line to hydraulic pump	*BA32.00-P-1006-01D

12	Unscrew bolt (14) from bracket (13) of Active Body Control (ABC) hydraulic pump (10)	Bolt, rear hydraulic pump to bracket for hydraulic pump and timing case	*BA32.00-P-1002-01D
13	Unscrew bolt (15) and remove Active Body Control (ABC) hydraulic pump (10) upwards until electrical connector at ABC pressure relief valve (Y86) is accessible	Bolt, hydraulic pump to cylinder crankcase	*BA32.00-P-1003-01D
14	Disconnect electrical connector from ABC pressure relief valve (Y86) and lift out Active Body Control (ABC) hydraulic pump (10)
15	Detach belt pulley (16) from Active Body Control (ABC) hydraulic pump (10)	When replacing the Active Body Control (ABC) hydraulic pump (10). Bolt, belt pulley to hydraulic pump	*BA32.00-P-1004-01D
16	Install in the reverse order
17	Fill and bleed active body control (ABC)		AR32.50-P-0021SX
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
18	Carry out engine test run and check Active Body Control (ABC) for proper operation
