	Remove/install
1	Remove engine cover
2	Remove air intake pipe on right and left
3	Loosen poly-V belt (1) and remove	To do this turn hexagon (2) of tensioning device (3) in an counterclockwise direction (arrow) until the tensioner pulley (5) can be locked with the drift. Use a drift with a diameter of 5 mm. Swivel clamping device (3) on hexagon (2) counterclockwise (arrow), fit on poly-V belt (1) and slacken clamping device (3).	AR13.22-P-3902-02MUD
4	Remove screw/bolts (4) and clamping device (3)	The clamping device (3) can only be installed when locked. To replace the clamping device (3), clamp old tensioning device (3) into a vise, swivel at hexagon (2) in a counterclockwise direction (arrow), pull out drift and release tension at tensioning device (3).

5	Unclip covers (8)
6	Remove guide pulleys (6, 7)	Screw/bolt, guide pulley to timing case cover	*BA13.25-P-1003-01ZA
		Screw/bolt, guide pulley to right front cover/carrier	*BA13.25-P-1002-01ZA
	Check
7	Check profile of belt pulleys and tensioning device (3) for damage and dirt and replace if necessary
8	Check poly-V belt (1) for wear and damage; replace if necessary

9	Inspect tensioner pulley (5) for damage and dirt; clean or replace if necessary
10	Check guide pulleys (6, 7) for damage and soiling
11	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
12	Perform an engine test run and check correct seating of the poly-V belt (1) and if necessary correct the seat of the poly-V belt (1)
