1	Determine gap dimension (A) between sliding roof (2) and rear panoramic roof (1.1) and note

3	Move sliding roof (2) to tilt position

12	Saw off an approx. 1 cm wide strip on the rear edge of rear cover (8)	Saw carefully. Otherwise the upper seal on the rear window (9) can be damaged and the rear window (9) must be replaced. 18	Cut adhesive bead (11) in side cutting areas (D) with cutting wire (18) and lift rear panoramic sliding roof frame (1) with assembly wedge (13) while cutting.	Helper required. The adhesive gap between the rear panoramic sliding roof frame (1) and body flange is so small that the cutting wire (18) runs directly on the sheet metal flange which makes it difficult to cut. 21	Remove rear panoramic sliding roof frame (1) from body with aid of helper

22	Open driver door side window	The side window should remain open during the curing time. Otherwise the rear panoramic sliding roof frame (1) can be pressed toward outside by the air when a door is closed.
23	Completely close sliding roof (2) via emergency actuation
24	Move rear roller sun blind (3) to assembly position	Unlock catch hook (3.1) on left and right side of rear roller sun blind (3) by pressing in and push both roller bearings (3.2) into guide rails (4) toward rear until catch hooks (3.1) arrest in rear cutouts (arrow F).
25	Install rear roller sun blind (3) with guide rails (4) to new rear panoramic sliding roof frame (1)	Rear roller sun blind (3) remains in assembly position.	AR77.21-P-0201LF

29	Install rear panoramic sliding roof frame (1) on body and align determined gap dimension (A) and center	After gluing in rear panoramic sliding roof frame (1), do not move vehicle for min. 10 h. Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured. Before adjusting gap dimensions (A), position sealing lip of seal (14) below sliding roof (2).
30	Tighten bolts (17) on left and right side of rear roller sun blind (3	The position of rear panoramic sliding roof frame (1) is not changed. Otherwise the gap dimension (A) and alignment between the side roof panelings changes.
31	Put large-surface weights on rear panoramic sliding roof frame (1) at rear	Use weights with large surfaces such as sandbags to put load on rear panoramic sliding roof frame (1). Otherwise the rear panoramic sliding roof frame (1) can be damaged.

39	Move rear roller sun blind (3) from assembly position of end position	Push rear roller sun blind (3) at both roller bearings (3.2) into guide rails (4) toward front to stop. Both roller bearings (3.2) arrest in the guide rails (4).
