Remove/Install Rear Panoramic Roof Roller Sun Blind - AR77.21-S-0201E

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Completely open roller sun blind (1) with panoramic sliding roof roller sun blind switch    
2 Remove rear headliner Model 447.7
with code V23 (Interior trim, premium version)
except code ZH6 (Marco Polo ACTIVITY)
Model 447.8
with code V23 (Interior trim, premium version)
except code ZK7 (Equipment line MARCO
POLO)
Model 448.8

3 Unscrew bolts (2, arrow A) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Tighten bolts (4) together with bolts (2, arrow A).  
4 Unscrew bolts (4) on both sides of panoramic roof IMPORTANT Helper required to hold detached guide rails (3).  
    INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Lightly tighten bolts (4) by hand.  
5 Lower guide rails (3) until rear area of guide rails (3) is accessible at top NOTES
Uniformly lower guide (3), however, not too far.
Otherwise the guide tubes (5) can be damaged.
IMPORTANT Helper required to hold detached guide rails (3).
 
6 Secure lowered guide rails (3) with cable ties    
7 Remove roller sun blind (1) from guide rail (3) Install roller sun blind (1) on guide rails (3) AR77.21-S-0201-01E 
      AR77.21-S-0201-02E 
8 Turn roller sun blind (1) and insert anti-twist lock (6) from bottom into right roller bearing (1.2) (arrow C). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : A new roller sun blind (1) is supplied with inserted anti-twist lock (6).
If an anti-twist lock (6) is not available for removal.

Use an approx. 10 cm long wire with a diameter of approx. 1.5 mm
 
9 Unscrew bolts (7) on both sides of roller sun blind (1) and remove roller sun blind (1)    
10 Install in the reverse order    
11 Synchronize panoramic roller sun blind with diagnostic system and perform teach-in run for automatic reversing function    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-S-2000-04E
INSPECT Check     
12 Check roller sun blind (1) for proper function
