Location
The anti-theft alarm system control unit (ATA) (N26/6) is installed on overhead control panel control unit (OCP) (N70).
Task
The anti-theft alarm system control unit (ATA) (N26/6) has the following purposes:
- Reading in of signals
- Evaluation of signals
- Output of signals
- Recognizing changes of vehicle inclination
Reading in of signals
Signals are read in via the following connections:
- Alarm system LIN (LIN B14)
- Interior CAN (CAN B)
Alarm system LIN (LIN B14)
The anti-theft alarm system control unit (ATA) (N26/6) reads in the signals from the alarm siren with additional battery (H3/1) via the alarm system LIN (LIN B14).
Interior CAN (CAN B)
The signals are read in by the anti-theft alarm system (ATA) (N26/6) via the interior CAN (CAN B). The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
Evaluation of signals
The signals that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the corresponding components are then actuated.
Output of signals
The signals are issued through the following connections:
- Alarm system LIN (LIN B14)
- Interior CAN (CAN B)
Alarm system LIN
The ant-theft alarm system control unit (ATA) (N26/6) actuates the alarm siren with additional battery (H3/1) via the alarm system LIN (LIN B14).
Interior CAN (CAN B)
The signals are read in by the anti-theft alarm system (ATA) (N26/6) via the interior CAN (CAN B). The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
Recognizing changes of vehicle inclination
If the inclination sensor integrated into the anti-theft alarm system control unit (ATA) (N26/6) recognizes an alarm-relevant change of inclination, an alarm is output.
