	Remove/install
	Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
1	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003GZ
2	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	Model 166	AR88.40-P-1000GQ
3	Remove cover (1) from fuse and relay module housing (2)	Check condition of seal in cover (1) and ensure it is correctly seated. Otherwise components could be damaged by moisture and fouling.
4	Detach electrical line (3) from engine compartment fuse and relay module (F58)	Nut, circuit 30 in prefuse box	*BA54.10-P-1002-01C
5	Release catches (2a), lift engine compartment fuse and relay module (F58) slightly and pull out of bracket (2b)
6	Remove engine compartment fuse and relay module (F58) from fuse and relay module housing (2)	Check condition of cable grommet (4) and ensure it is correctly seated in the fuse and relay module housing (2).
7	Detach cable tie (5)
8	Release and disconnect electrical connections (6)
9	Note assignment of engine compartment fuse and relay module (F58)
10	Detach relay, electrical fuses and fuse holder from engine compartment fuse and relay module (F58)	The number of fuses, fuse holders and relays varies depending on the vehicle equipment.
11	Install in the reverse order
