1	Remove side paneling in trunk	MODEL 166.0	AR68.30-P-4800GQ
1	Remove side paneling in trunk	MODEL 166.8	AR68.30-P-4800GQX
2	Remove seat cushion (1a) of backrest (1b) in 3rd seat row and fold forward	MODEL 166.8
2		Bolt, rear seat cushion to rear seat console	*BA91.12-P-1004-03F
3	Remove control units (2) with connected lines from carrier plate (2a) and place to one side	MODEL 166.8
4	Cut insulation mat (3) along the marked cutting line (3a) and fold up	Carefully cut the insulation mat (3) and fold up. Otherwise the paint or the insulation mat (3) may get damaged. Seal cut in insulation mat (3) using adhesive tape.
5	Secure vehicle on vehicle lift		AR00.60-P-0100GZ
6	Detach rear complete wheel
	Detach rear complete wheel		AP40.10-P-4050EW
7	Remove inner fender from rear fender		AR88.10-P-1400GQ
8	Release and disconnect electrical connection (4)	MODEL 166 with CODE 489 (Airmatic (air suspension with level adjustment and adaptive damping system ADS))
9	Raise wheel suspension slightly at supporting joint	Wheel suspension must be supported. Otherwise the steel spring may come out or the air spring can be damaged. Transmission jack gotis://H_00.10_01. 0 Transmission platform gotis://A_25/35/49_02. 0
10	Unscrew nuts (5a)	Self-locking nut, shock absorber to frame floor	*BA32.25-P-1002-03K
11	Remove bolt (5b)	Self-locking nut, shock absorber to spring control arm	*BA32.25-P-1001-03K
12	Slide damper (5) together and remove
	Check
13	Check shock absorber (5)	MODEL 166 without CODE 489 (Airmatic (air suspension with level adjustment and adaptive damping system ADS))	AR32.25-P-0121A
14	Install in the reverse order
