Remove/Install Rear Axle Shaft - AR35.30-P-0620GL

with drum brakes on the rear axle 

Model 463 with rear axle 741.52/53, 742.60 up to model year 2019

	Remove/install
1	Remove rear wheel
			AP40.10-P-4050G
2	Remove the set-screw (19) from the brake drum (20)	Replace safety screw (19).
		Safety screw, brake drum to wheel hub	*BA42.10-P-1001-16A
3	Detach brake drum (20)	Adjust automatic brake adjuster.	AR42.10-P-0169-01GG
		The parking brake must be disengaged completely. Should it prove impossible to pull off the brake drum on the initial attempt, turn back the automatic adjuster to remove the pressure from the brake shoes:
4	Undo the set-screw (21) in the transfer coupling (18)	Install a new safety screw (21).
		Safety screw, driver to wheel hub	*BA42.10-P-1004-16A
5	Pull out transfer coupling (18) and rear halfshaft (17)	Lubricant may tend to emerge from the rear differential casing if the vehicle is tilted. As a precaution, place a suitable container beneath the final-drive unit.
		Replace O-ring (16) on drive plate (18).
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Adjust automatic brake adjuster		AR42.10-P-0169-01GG
		Clearance of brake shoes	*BE42.10-P-1001-13A
8	Check oil level in differential
			AP35.10-P-3510G
