Replace radial sealing rings on side of rear axle center assembly - AR35.31-P-0545CW

NOTES Notes on repair work on suspension components   AH00.00-P-0100-01A
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
REMOVING Remove     
1 Secure vehicle on vehicle lift   AR00.60-P-0100CW
2 Remove rear-axle shaft (37)   AR35.30-P-0620CW 
3 Pry radial shaft sealing ring (32a) out of rear axle differential (50) using a suitable tool NOTES Do not damage seat surface of radial shaft sealing ring (32a).
Leaks can otherwise occur.		  
INSTALLING Install     
4 Clean seat of radial shaft sealing ring (32a) in rear axle differential (50) using clean, lint-free rag and assembly cleaner NOTES Assembly cleaner must not enter the rear axle differential (50).
Otherwise, the rear axle differential (50) may be damaged.
NOTES The seat of the radial shaft sealing ring (32a) in the rear axle differential (50) must be free of oil and dirt.
Leaks can otherwise occur.		  
Assembly cleaner *BR00.45-Z-1028-04A 
5 Check seat of radial shaft sealing ring (32a) in rear axle differential (50) for damage If damage is present:
Repair or replace rear axle differential (50).

6 Apply universal hypoid gear oil to sealing lip of new radial shaft sealing ring (32a)    
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Universal hypoid gear oils (specification 235.7) Universal hypoid gear oils (specification 235.7). MB 235.7/235.74 FE hypoid gear oil A 001 989 33 03/Mobilube FE/FE Plus 75W-85
7.1 Press new radial shaft sealing ring (32a) using drift (03) into rear axle differential (50) Rear axle differential Ø 187 mm and Ø 215 mm

7.2 Press radial shaft sealing ring (32a) using drift and sleeve into rear axle differential (50) Rear axle differential Ø 200 mm

8 Install new circlip (37o) on inner splined shaft of rear axle shaft (37)    
9 Install rear axle shaft (37).   AR35.30-P-0620CW 
INSPECT Check     
10 Check oil level in rear axle differential (50) and correct, if necessary MODEL 204.377
