| 1 | Remove left outside mirror (M21/1) or right outside mirror (M21/2) | AR88.70-P-9000LW | |
| 2 | Remove covering on outside rearview mirror | AR88.70-P-9040LF | |
| 3 | Remove circlip (5) | ||
| 4 | Coat seal (6) in vicinity of electrical lines with a suitable lubricant and pull approx. 15 cm over the electrical lines | ||
| 5 | Remove cover (7) from bottom of left outside mirror (M21/1) or right outside mirror (M21/2) | ||
| 6 | Pull electrical lines approx. 15 cm out of left outside mirror (M21/1) or right outside mirror (M21/2) (arrow D) | ||
| 7 | Remove retainer (2) from connector housing (1) using a suitable screwdriver (3) (arrow A) | ||
| 8 | Release connector housing (1) (arrow B) and detach from electrical line (4) (arrow C) | Fig 6 | |

| 9 | Unscrew bolt (8) | ||
| 10 | Unclip left telephone antenna (A2/102) or right telephone antenna (A2/103) from left outside mirror (M21/1) or right outside mirror (M21/2) (arrow E) | ||
| 11 | Slide off left telephone antenna (A2/102) or right telephone antenna (A2/103) from left outside mirror (M21/1) or right outside mirror (M21/2) (arrow F) | ||
| 12 | Pull electrical line (4) all the way out of seal (6) and left outside mirror (M21/1) or right outside mirror (M21/2) and remove left telephone antenna (A2/102) or right telephone antenna (A2/103) | ||
| 13 | Install in the reverse order |
