| 1 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key | ||
| 2 | Remove corresponding complete wheel | AR40.10-P-1101A | |
| 3 | Release fender liner (1) in front area until the electrical connector (3) is accessible and the electrical line (2) can be exposed | AR88.10-P-1400LW | |
| 4 | Release and detach electrical connector (3) on the rear axle's electrical connection for the left distributor (X62/32) or on the rear axle's electrical connection for the right distributor (X62/33) | ||
| 5 | Unscrew bolt (4) | ||
| Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts | AH00.00-N-0001-01A | ||
| 6 | Detach bracket (5) from left rear axle rpm sensor (L6/3) or right rear axle rpm sensor (L6/4) and hook to one side | ||
| 7 | Expose electrical line (2) of left rear axle rpm sensor (L6/3) or right rear axle rpm sensor (L6/4) | ||
| 8 | Remove left rear axle rpm sensor (L6/3) or right rear axle rpm sensor (L6/4) | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 10 | Read out fault memory and erase if necessary | ||
