| 1 | Remove left striker pin mounting console (1) for soft top compartment lid | AR77.30-P-3978LWR | |
| 2 | Unclip connector (2) from striker pin mounting console (1) | ||
| 3 | Knock rivet (3) off of striker pin mounting console (1) and remove rivet residues | ||
| 4 | Cut wiring harness (4) at suitable point and remove left upper soft compartment lid limit switch (S84/26) | ||
| Install | |||
| 5 | Shorten electrical lines of new upper left soft top compartment limit switch (S84/26) to corresponding length | If necessary. | |
