| 2 | Cover rear left fender | ||
| 3 | Knock off rivet (1) and remove rivet residues | ||
| 4 | Cut wiring harness (2) at suitable point | Cut wiring harness (2) so that the repair point is not stressed mechanically when opening and closing the soft top. Otherwise the repair point can be damaged. |

| 5 | Remove soft top open limit switch (S84/3) | ||

| 6 | Short electrical lines of new soft top open limit switch (S84/3) to corresponding length | If necessary. | |
