| 2 | Remove heat shield (8) from expansion reservoir (2). | Engine 654 in model 205 Engine 654, 656 in model 253 | |
| 3 | Carefully unscrew cap (1). | ||
| 4 | Suction off coolant from the expansion reservoir (2) and capture coolant in a suitable container. | Fig 1 | |
| 5 | Remove bleed line (3) from expansion reservoir (2). | AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ | |
| 6 | Unclip expansion reservoir (2) from rubber guides (4) and front guide. | ||
| 7 | Remove electric lines (5) from expansion reservoir (2). | ||
| 8 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (7). | ||
| 9 | Remove coolant hose (6) from expansion reservoir (2) and seal openings using suitable protective covers. | AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ | |

| 11 | Check rubber guides (4) for wear and damage. | If damage or wear are present, ↓ replace rubber guides (4). |
