| 5 | Unscrew nut (4) and detach suspension strut (5) at spring control arm (2) | MODEL 205 with CODE 489 (AIRMATIC) |

| MODEL 205 without CODE 489 (AIRMATIC) Put aside suspension strut (5) at spring control arm (2). Otherwise the elastomer boot on the suspension strut joint may be damaged. |

| 6 | Unscrew nut (6) and detach torsion bar link rod (7) at spring control arm (2) | MODEL 205 without CODE M005 (4MATIC) The ball head must be counterheld and a impact wrench/driver must not be used. Otherwise the ball head gets damaged. |

| 12 | Check suspension strut joint on spring control arm (2) for damage | If damage is present: ↓ Replace spring control arm (2). |

| 13 | Check torsion bar pivot bushing on spring control arm (2) for damage | MODEL 205 without CODE M005 (4MATIC) If damage is present: ↓ Replace spring control arm (2). |

| 14 | Check elastomer bearing in spring control arm (2) for damage | If damaged, and if a neutral (genuine) elastomer bearing is installed ↓ Replace spring control arm (2). If damaged, and if an elastomer bearing is installed for camber correction ↓ Replace elastomer bearing of spring control arm (2). |
