| 5 | Detach coolant hoses (6, 7) at the water-cooled charge air cooler (4) | AR09.41-P-1311-01AL | |
| 6 | Detach coolant vent line (1) on water-cooled charge air cooler (4) | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connection (10) on temperature sensor upstream of charge air cooler (B17/11) | ||
| 8 | Disconnect electrical connection (12) at pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve (B28/6) | ||
| 9 | Unclip subharness (13) from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) on water-cooled charge air cooler (4) | ||
| 10 | Unclip ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) together with the holder and place to one side with attached lines | ||
| 11 | Detach mounting plate (11) | ||
| 12 | Remove screw/bolts (2, 3, 9) on water-cooled charge air cooler (4) and remove water-cooled charge air cooler (4) to the front from throttle valve | *BA09.41-P-1002-01U | |
| 13 | Detach air intake hose (5) from water-cooled charge air cooler (4) | ||
| 14 | Pull water-cooled charge air cooler (4) up and out | ||
| 15 | Install in the reverse order | ||
