| 1 | Remove front section of lower engine compartment paneling | AR61.20-P-1105LW | |
| 2 | Open cap of low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir slowly and take off | ||
| 3 | Drain coolant from low-temperature circuit | ||

| 5 | Detach coolant hoses on coolant connections (2) | AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ | |
| 6 | Detach vent line at thermostat housing hose | ||
| 7 | Detach vent line (4) at charge air cooler (3) | ||
| 8 | Disconnect electrical line at charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) and on pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve (B28/6) | ||
| 9 | Unclip retaining clamp (1), pull charge air cooler (3) to the front and to the left side of vehicle and remove upwards | ||
| 10 | Detach connection piece between throttle valve and charge air cooler (3) | When replacing the charge air cooler (3) | |
| 11 | Remove charge air temperature sensor (B178) | When replacing the charge air cooler (3) | |
| 12 | Remove pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve (B28/6) | When replacing the charge air cooler (3) | |
| 13 | Install in the reverse order | ||
