	Remove/install
1	Open front door (2)
2	Completely lower side window in rear door (1)
3	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key
4	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003LW
5	Disconnect electrical connector on left rear door (X35/3) or electrical connector on right rear door (X35/4)
6	Remove cap from grub screw (5)
7	Unscrew grub screws (5, 6) from hinges (3, 4) 3 turns	Repair paint damage in area of grub screws (5, 6).

8	Remove rear door (1) from lower hinge leaves and lay down on suitable base	Carefully remove rear door (1) and insert Otherwise the rear door (1) comes into contact with the vehicle and the paint can be damaged. The exterior contour of the hinge bolt (4.1) should be flush with the inside contour of the bolt mount (4.2). Helper required.
9	Install in the reverse order
	Check
10	Check gap dimensions on rear door (1)		AR72.12-P-0650LW
		If necessary: ↓ Adjust gap dimensions on rear door (1).
11	Check power window for proper function and normalize
