Remove/Install TELMA Retarder Rotor - Ar43.40-D-1600C

MODEL 906 with CODE (PB2) Mastercode retarder VMC

	Remove/install
1	Lift/jack up vehicle		AR00.60-D-1000H
2	Detach corresponding drive shaft of rotor (5) to be set on retarder and fix in place using cable ties	Mark installation position of front propeller shaft relative to rear drive shaft and retarder. The universal joints of the drive shafts must not be offset to each other, but rather they must be synchronously installed. Install new nuts.

	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
3	Bend up retainer (1)	Secure bolt (2) with retainer (1).
4	Remove bolt (2) and retainer (1)	Install new retainer (1).

5	Remove disk spring (3) and pressure plate (4)
6	Remove rotor (5) from rotor shaft	Mark installation position of rotor (5) relative to rotor (5) on opposite side. Observe identification of rotor (5) relative to rotor (5) on opposite side.
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Adjust gap		AR43.40-D-1400C
