INSPECT Check     
DANGER Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
1 Connect testing unit to brake booster SPECIAL TOOL Test connection Fig 2

2 Start engine and read off measured value IMPORTANT MODEL 906 with ENGINE 642
Allow the engine to run at idle for at least 30 s.
Allow the engine to run at idle for at least 30 s and depress the accelerator pedal sharply several times during this time.
 
Vacuum in hose after engine has been running for 30 seconds *BE43.05-N-1001-01C 
3 Switch off engine, read off measured value IMPORTANT Switch off the engine and immediately read off the measurement value at the vacuum tester (1).
IMPORTANT The vacuum is permitted to drop by max. 0.2 bar in 10 min. If there is a vacuum loss of above 0.2 bar replace vacuum line with check valve.

4 Disconnect testing unit at brake booster MODEL 906 AR43.10-D-0024-01H
